Neil and myself have both moved house, myself twice, my wife Katherine gave birth to my little boy Levi, and Tony’s wife Toula gave birth to their third child Estelle, all whilst we established WVB.

After beginning as the three of us, the plan was to look to find our first employee in July 2015, but we were lucky enough to have a strong first 10 months and made the decision to hire Alicia Connole as our Business Support Manager in October 2014. In hindsight, it has been a great decision and we have been extremely lucky to have Alicia join our small family.

The support we have received has been amazing from everyone involved. From branding and the creation and design of our website by Simple Integrated Marketing, lawyers, suppliers and referrers of clients, there have been many to thank and we are extremely grateful for the all the help which has made establishing and growing WVB an enjoyable exercise. We especially thank our families for supporting us to do this, and most importantly the support from all our clients who have grown with us and had the faith in us to provide accounting services to them. We hope this is the start of a long journey which will be beneficial to all of us.

One of the major factors in starting WVB was to provide a healthy lifestyle balance for us, which is a combination of hard work while also being able to enjoy quality time with our families. This has come to fruition very quickly for us and in the short 16 months, we have been able to find a good balance which we believe is vital in staying motivated and fresh and enabling us to continue to enjoy providing the services we offer our clients.

The intention of our blog going forward is twofold, firstly to provide updates on things that are happening within WVB, and secondly on different topics which we hope you may find useful.
